Having qualified in General Practice in 19xx from Birmingham Medical School, Dr Amrit Takhar was also awarded a distinction in the Membership exam of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Throughout his career he has been pro-actively involved in research and training and has taught on numerous workshops around the UK, most recently on Good Clinical Practice in Research. With a special interest in skin conditions, he introduced a telemedicine link with local specialists in 1995 and has received specialist training in the use and administration of all products and treatments offered.
He thoroughly researches all procedures before introducing them in the clinic and ensures that the treatment for each patient is appropriate and carried out in the safest and most effective way.
